LOOK CCTV was established in 1989 and initially provided conventional tape based CCTV systems for buses and coaches. However, with the demands of a transport environment, it quickly became apparent that a different approach was needed. LOOK was the first company to pioneer ruggedised digital recording systems offering high quality imaging and long recording times especially for the transport environment. Digital systems are now the defacto standard for bus and coach CCTV.  

LOOK CCTV has consistently led through product innovation and was the first company to develop a CCTV system that can be hidden behind the bus STOPPING sign. LOOK was also the first to develop a vandal resistant polycarbonate dome to protect CCTV cameras.   LOOK CCTV is a trading division of Quadnetics Group PLC in 2005, a move which has strengthened LOOK's competitive position. Quadnetics Group is a specialist in the design, integration and control of advanced CCTV and networked video systems.  

Based in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, LOOK CCTV employs 38 technical staff and has a national network of maintenance and support engineers.
